a. How do I move something I've drawn on the screen?

Use the SELECT MODE. First select the area to be moved by positioning the SELECT BOX over the area and adjust to fit. Tap the CUT button, drag the SELECT BOX to the new location and tap the PASTE button.

b. I've typed some text in the text box but it's not showing on the screen. Why has it disappeared?

You may have tapped another button without pasting the text first. The typed text has not disappeared, it's still in the TEXT BOX. Simply tap the TYPE button and the TEXT BOX will appear again. Remember to tap the PASTE button to paste the text on to the screen canvas.

c. The toolbars have disappeared. How can I get it back?

Tap the SHOWTOOLBARS button at the bottom of the screen to hide/unhide the toolbars.
Some features may have a SECONDARY TOOLBAR located below the MAIN TOOLBAR. You can roll up the SECONDARY TOOLBAR and hide the MAIN TOOLBAR to view more screen space.

Tap the MENU UP button to "roll up" the SECONDARY TOOLBAR and hide the MAIN TOOLBAR.
Tap the MENU DOWN button to restore the MAIN TOOLBAR.
See the DRAW MODE help screens for another example.

d. I've opened a file as a background and drawn over it, but when I saved my work, the background is gone. What happened to the background?

Remember to MERGE the background with your screen image BEFORE saving your work.

e. What is the double-tap used for?

In SELECT MODE, TYPE, WRITE, MAPS, DOCS, IMAGES and ICONS, a box is used to hold a copy of the screen area, text, map etc. The box contents will eventually be PASTED on to the screen image.

Generally, double-tap outside the box area to paste the contents of the box as a convenient and quick alternative to tapping the PASTE button.

In WRITE MODE, double-tap the screen outside both TARGET and WRITE BOXES to paste the contents of the TARGET BOX and advance the TARGET BOX.

In TYPE MODE, double-tap the screen outside the TEXT BOX to paste the text in the TEXT BOX on to the screen. Similarly with MAPS, DOCS, IMAGES (if you select resizable image) and ICONS.

In SELECT MODE, if the SELECT BOX is empty, the screen area under the SELECT BOX will be copied into the SELECT BOX if you double-tap the screen outside the box. Otherwise, if the SELECT BOX has an image, it will be PASTED on to the screen.

f. I've tapped the PASTE button to paste an image but nothing seems to have happened. Where is the pasted image?

It's under the BOX which contained the copy of your image. Just drag the BOX away and you will see the image on the screen.

Note that the BOXES are not cleared automatically after pasting (except the WRITE MODE TARGET BOX) as you may wish to re-use the content in another location or edit it.

g. When I use the eraser, why does it appear away from my finger?

The eraser offset is intentional so that your finger does not obstruct what you are trying to erase. The offset is adjustable under the PEN SETTINGS.

h. I have an image which I use frequently. Can I add it to the icon library?

Yes. You can either transfer the image (for example, your logo) using iTunes (see the ICONS HELP screen), or if you can use the SELECT MODE to export it to the icon library.
